BoE likely to keep rates on hold

LONDON – THE Bank of England began its monthly rate-setting meeting on Wednesday, with most analysts expecting it to leave its policies unchanged, as recent data suggested the domestic recession may have bottomed out after the economy shrank sharply in the first quarter.
